4. What if I don’t respond to the winner notification? 

Winners must respond by June 26th to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond or declines the prize, another winner will be selected.

5. Can I transfer less than £400 and still enter the giveaway? 

No, only transactions of £400 or more (excluding transaction fees) qualify for the giveaway.

6. What if I send the money but am not following Send App on Instagram or X?

These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the Flutterwave Send App promotion (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood our Privacy Notice at https://flutterwave.com/gb/privacy-policy.

Use of Send App is subject to the Send App terms and conditions of use, available at https://send.flutterwave.com/legal/terms. Transaction fees apply to Send App money transfers and are payable by the sender. Send App transaction fees do not count towards the transaction value required for entry into the Promotion.

Promoter:

Eligibility:

This campaign is open to all verified Send App customers who are legal residents of Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland only) and are 18 years or older at the time of entry.

Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. This campaign is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Promotion Period:

The campaign begins on June 11, 2024, and ends on June 23, 2024 (“Entry Period”), both dates inclusive. Transactions outside this period will not be eligible for entry.

How to Enter:

Participants must complete a transaction of £400 or more (excluding transaction fees) using Send App during the Entry Period. Each transaction over this amount counts as one entry into the draw.

Participants must also follow Send App on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) to be eligible for the prize.

Participants who complete both these steps will be automatically entered into the prize draw. If any eligible entrant wishes to opt out of the Promotion please contact Promoter using the contact details at the end of these Rules.

Prize:

Five winners will each win one ticket to the Burna Boy “I Told Them” Tour concert in London on 29th June 2024. Five additional winners will also each win one ticket to the Burna Boy “I Told Them” Tour Welcome Party in London on 27 June 2024. The prize does not include travel to or from the events. Entry to each event venue will be subject to that venue’s terms and conditions. The tickets are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. However, if the Promoter considers it appropriate, or it becomes necessary for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control (e.g. where the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, including as a result of government-imposed health restrictions), the prize may be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative in Promoter’s discretion.

Winner Selection:

Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted on June 24, 2024. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified via the email/phone associated with their Send App account within 48 hours of the draw. Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact winners, but it’s each winner’s responsibility to monitor their email address (including spam folder) and voicemail for receipt of the notification.

Winners must respond within two days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this period, another winner may be selected.

General:

Send App reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign if necessary and to disqualify any participant found to violate these T&Cs at any time.

Limitation of Liability:

Nothing in these Rules limits or excludes any person’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which liability cannot be lawfully limited or excluded. However, to the fullest extent permissible by law, Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage any entrant suffers as a result of their participation in the Promotion and receipt or use of the Prize in circumstances where: (i) there has been no breach of a legal duty of care owed to the entrant by Promoter; (ii) the loss or damage was not caused by a breach of these Rules by Promoter or its agents or representatives; (iii) it was not obvious that the entrant would suffer such loss or damage and nothing the entrant said to Promoter before they entered this Promotion meant that Promoter should have expected it to happen (so, in the law, the loss was “unforeseeable”); (iv) the entrant could have avoided such loss or damage by taking reasonable action; (v) the loss or damage was caused by an event or circumstance beyond Promoter’s reasonable control; or (vi) the loss or damage was caused by the unavailability of Promoter’s websites, apps or social media accounts. In addition, this Promotion is only open to consumers (not businesses) and therefore Promoter is not responsible for any business losses any entrant may suffer, such as loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill.

Taxes and Duties:

The recipient of any prize is solely responsible for all applicable taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. Winners may be required to report their winnings to tax authorities and pay any taxes due as a result of receiving a prize.

Publicity Rights:

By participating in this promotion, winners grant Send App and its affiliates the right to use their name, likeness, and other biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Disclosure of winner’s details:

By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. Law and Jurisdiction:

The Promotion and these Rules are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
